Still shacking from his Lush FM debut Clark our very own electro renegade and techno evangelist is primed and set to get your hands in the air with an explosive box of late night crackers.

Future Music at House on Dempsey is all about taking emerging cuts from across the scene and combining them into a tripped out electronic montage so you can kick back and get down.

Like all good quests we start with a plan; the coolest acid jazz, the hottest electro and most advanced techno. But no one can really predict what's going to happen.
 

In the future there are no boundaries, no limitations all things are
possible, you just have to be part of it.

No sense living in the past.

Get primed and amped for this House.

As mad as a March hare, follow the line and step into 'Future Music'. Last month's explosive debut nearly blew the roof off, literally.

Mixing in front of a big flashing light box with the word 'camp' blinking on and off does freaky things to my mind.

So grab a cocktail, hang with friends on the balcony and take in some of Singapore's rain-forest. Early is mellow, acid jazz n trip hop.

Go with the flow, as the heat of day is replaced by the thrill of night. The tempo will build, electro beats, house n disco loops to get the feet tapping, then once you're cooking its trippy techno all the way.

Or something like that.

I make it up as I go long, in case you'd not noticed, even taking detours to drop in the 'odd' request in return for a glass of red.

Its been a hectic few weeks, apologies for the hiatus.

Resting over CNY then back at it down Blu Jaz way on Saturday 27th February, another topographic expedition to that mysterious, twilight frontier where acid meets jazz they marry, buy a shack and spawn a funky tech-house lovechild.

As was the past so is the future this month’s Soundscapes is up on the 2nd level where Raeburn J will stimulate your senses from 9pm prior to me bashing you’re lobes in from 11(ish)

During Saturday's Lush FM set with X'Ho I mentioned that I'm donating all my fees from this Friday's (29/1) Future Music gig at House on Dempsey to the folks in Haiti.

In addition House are now giving 30% of all the night’s sales on Granite Merlot (by glass and bottle) to the fund.

Embarking from Blu Jaz’s freaky 2nd floor our show boat departs at 9pm sharp on Saturday 16th January 2010 for a halcyon fueled adventure on the high seas of electronic escapism mirth and excess.

No need to dress up this time but you sure as hell want to get down.

We've had a cracking year at Blu Jaz so as 2009 comes to a close its time to dress up like maniacs, let our hair down and strut our stuff.

To get your bits moving Raeburn J will kick off with some great and classic house before I start cranking up the tempo and dropping techno well into the early hours.

On and off like a tarts draws, sorry for the mix up earlier. We have power on the 2nd Floor so I'll be djing from 12:30 tonight.
